In short: we collect what you type into our contact and quote forms so that we can reply, plus standard analytics about how the site is used. We do not sell your data. Email work@brandraj.com at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold.
1. Who we are
Brandraj ("Brandraj", "we", "us" or "our") is a technology and digital marketing company based in Delhi, India. We build software, websites and mobile applications, and run marketing campaigns for businesses.
This policy explains what personal data we collect through brandraj.com/, why we collect it, who we share it with and what control you have over it. For the data collected through this website, Brandraj is the data fiduciary (also called the data controller).
You can reach us at work@brandraj.com, +91 84487 88621, or Delhi, India.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
Our contact form and the "Get a Quote" dialog ask for your full name, company name, email address, phone number, country, the service you are interested in, and your message. Name, email and message are required; the rest are optional. Anything else you choose to tell us in an email, a call or a proposal discussion is also covered by this policy.
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address, which we store alongside each form submission so we can rate limit and block spam and abusive traffic.
- Standard technical data such as browser type, device type, operating system, referring page and the pages you visit on our site.
- Cookie and similar identifiers set by us and by the analytics and advertising tools described in section 5.
Information we handle for clients
When we build or operate a system for a client, we may process personal data belonging to that client's own customers or users. In that case we act as a processor on the client's instructions under our services agreement, and the client's privacy policy, not this one, governs how that data is used.
What we do not want
Please do not send us passwords, card or bank account numbers, government identity numbers, health information or any other sensitive personal data through the website forms. We do not need them to answer an enquiry, and we will delete them if they arrive.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote, proposal or scope of work.
- To deliver, support and improve the services you have engaged us for.
- To send service communications such as project updates, invoices, renewal reminders, and notices about changes to our terms or this policy.
- To send marketing emails about our services, where you have opted in. Every such email carries an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how the site is used and which pages and campaigns work, so we can improve them.
- To detect and prevent spam, fraud and abuse of our forms and infrastructure.
- To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
4. Our legal basis for processing
If you are in India, we process personal data with your consent, given when you submit a form or email us, and for the legitimate uses permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, such as responding to a request you have voluntarily made.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on: your consent (for marketing email and non essential cookies); performance of a contract (to deliver services you have engaged us for); our legitimate interests (to run and secure our website and to respond to business enquiries); and compliance with a legal obligation.
You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to work@brandraj.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out on the basis of your earlier consent.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use two categories of cookies and similar browser storage:
- Essential. These remember your cookie banner choice and your light or dark theme preference. They stay in your browser and the site cannot work properly without them.
- Analytics and marketing. Where configured, we load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. These set their own cookies, measure how visitors reach and use the site, and may later be used to show you our ads on those platforms.
You can decline the non essential categories from the cookie banner, clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and use the controls each provider offers, for example the Google Analytics opt out browser add on, or your ad preferences on Meta and LinkedIn. Declining does not stop you using any part of this site. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
6. When we share information
We share personal data only in these situations:
- Service providers. Cloud hosting and CDN, managed database hosting, object storage for uploaded files, email delivery, analytics and advertising platforms, and accounting software. They may use the data only to perform that service for us and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
- Professional advisors. Lawyers, auditors and accountants, where needed and under a duty of confidence.
- Legal requirements. Where we must disclose to comply with a law, a court order or a lawful request from a government authority, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
- Business transfers. If Brandraj is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your data may transfer to the acquiring entity under the same protections. We will tell you before it becomes subject to a different policy.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers store or process data on servers outside India, including in the European Union and the United States. Where personal data leaves your country we rely on the safeguards available under applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses, and we require providers to apply protections consistent with this policy.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and quote requests: while we are in contact with you and for up to three years after our last interaction, so we can pick up an earlier conversation. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
- Client and billing records: for as long as the engagement runs, and afterwards for the period Indian tax and company law requires us to retain financial records.
- Analytics data: for the retention period configured in each analytics platform.
Deleted records may remain in encrypted backups for a short period before those backups are rotated out.
9. How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS, our admin area is restricted to authenticated staff accounts with hashed passwords, form input is sanitised and rate limited, and access to production data is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
10. Your rights and choices
Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask us to:
- confirm what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy of it;
- correct data that is inaccurate, or complete data that is incomplete;
- erase data we no longer need, or that you gave us with consent you have since withdrawn;
- stop sending you marketing email, which you can also do from any such email;
- record a nomination so someone can exercise your rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated (India, DPDP Act);
- port your data to another provider, restrict processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests (EEA and UK).
Write to work@brandraj.com from the email address you contacted us with, with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We respond within 30 days. If our response does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, in the EEA or UK, to your local supervisory authority.
11. Children
This site and our services are meant for businesses and the people who run them. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us their data, write to work@brandraj.com and we will delete it.
12. Links to other sites
Our site, blog and case studies link to websites we do not control, including client sites and social platforms. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you open from here.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, our tools or the law change. The revised version is posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and where a change is material we will give notice on the site or by email before it takes effect.
